Chris has extensive Studio & live experience. Genres covered include; Rock, Classic Rock, Metal, Progressive rock, Pop, Rock & Blues, Jazz, Funk, Latin and more.

Chris studied privately, as well at the Toronto Percussion Centre, in Toronto, ON.

Currently working with several studio and live projects within the GTHA.

Corporate functions, Weddings, large or small. Chris is also actively working in club work, either in the capacity of permanent member, or also when called in as a 'sub' for working acts.

Chris works collaboratively to ensure equipment and music is gig-ready for any event.

At an early age, Chris was performing in small auditoriums.  He started professional recording sessions and gaining studio experience at the age of 16.

By the end of high school, Chris started in the Toronto club circuit in places such as; The Gasworks, Larry's Hideaway,

The legendary El Macombo, Club Heaven, Le Moustache (Montreal), Hooper's (Ottawa) and many more.

The club circuit took him touring throughout Canada, while continuing studies, lessons and session work with several bands.

Chris Lamont is a seasoned touring drummer known for delivering rock-solid groove, musical instinct, and total reliability on stage. He has toured extensively throughout Canada and the USA with premier bands, performing in theatres, casinos, festivals, and sold-out venues.

 Chris brings confidence, restraint, and authority to every performance.
